Anti-GMO But Pro-Vaccine?

The truth is that the GMO and vaccine agendas are the same; only, activists appear to think there is a difference.

Few things are as disturbing to me as the divide that exists between the GMO and vaccine awareness movements. If you look closely you’ll see the exact same concerns: the violation of informed consent, the neglect of the precautionary principle, predominance of industry propaganda over actual science, the revolving door between government regulators and legislators and industry, and the undermining of the fundamental right of bodily self-possession, the keystone of health freedom. And yet, these two groups behave as if they are fighting their own separate battles, with the end result that they usually are.

Non-GMO Blindspot

There are numerous examples of how these movements are lost without one another. For instance, the non-GMOs movement adamantly supports organic production methods, correct? But if you look at big players, such as Organic Valley and Horizon Organic, both openly utilize vaccines in their veterinary care practices, some of which either contain genetically modified components, adventitious retroviruses that alter host DNA sequences and/or expression, or utilize pathogens which have been genetically altered in a way that may result in altered genetic expression in the vaccinated animal and/or those who consume these animal products. These obviously non-organic practices and/or consequences to the consumer are perfectly legal: the USDA Organic standards not only permit vaccination, but consider it the only pharmaceutical product that should be administered to cows in the absence of obvious disease. Clearly, what is legal is not always right. Many companies are perfectly happy milking the muti-billion dollar organic market at the expense of haplessly loyal consumers who buy “organic-washed” products.

Even the Non-GMO Project, which while performing a valuable service of independently certifying foods as non-GMO, also generates a false sense of consumer security because many of these non-GMO foods still contain pesticides, and in the case of “non-GMO” oats, agrochemicals like glyphosate (Roundup). This is because non-GMO certification is radically different from USDA organic certification. And what really needs to happen is that non-GMO products must also be verified to be clear of common GM agrochemicals like glyphosate and its metabolite byproducts (AMPA).

The goal is to be assured we aren’t being poisoned by our food, is it not?

If so, the non-GMO movement needs to shift its focus to a deeper appreciation and criticism of the institutional/systemic problems that subtend the relatively myopic fixation on GMO labeling initiatives to broader concerns with environmental destruction and widespread toxicant exposures that come with modern food production methods.

GMOs in Vaccines?

And then there is a topic few on the non-GMO side seem to want to tackle head on: the present-day vaccine schedule contains a wide range of genetically modified ingredients that are being injected directly into the most vulnerable infants and children in our population. The HPV vaccine, for instance, which is comprised of a genetically modified form of yeast containing HPV-like antigens, has the worst adverse reports events (some lethal) on record.  Mind you, it has never once been proven to prevent a single case of cervical cancer because proxy markers for efficacy and not clinical proof were all the FDA required for its approval. Where is the non-GMO uproar about this? How do the most vulnerable and victimized populations benefit from the non-GMO and non-vaccine movements turning away from one another, or claiming that the explosion of autism diagnoses is only caused by either GMO foods or vaccines, not both, which is the more obvious likelihood?

The CDC medical police state: the right to detain anyone

by Jon Rappoport

September 5, 2016

—Understand the implications of new CDC rules, if you want to know where the medical dictatorship is heading.

Arbitrary apprehension of citizens, detainment, forced medical treatment, vaccination.

Let me paint a scenario:

You live in a polluted city, so you have a low-level cough. On your flight to another state, the cough becomes worse because the air in the plane cabin is foul. Unknown to you, a passenger complains to a flight attendant. The passenger is a typical meddler. When you arrive at your destination, a health-agency employee is waiting at the gate for you. He apprehends you and takes you to a room, to decide whether you have a communicable disease. His first standard question—are you up to date on your vaccinations? And things go downhill from there…

It can get worse: the same story as above, except when the detained passenger is injected with a load of vaccines, he then becomes very ill, or even dies. Using plane passenger lists, health authorities search out and detain everyone who was on the flight, claiming the deceased passenger died as a result of a disease—not the vaccinations—and now all the passengers will be detained and “treated,” because they are “infected.”

The CDC is doubling down.

The agency is on the verge of expanding its power to detain and force medical treatment on anyone.

The new proposed CDC regulations are contained in the Federal Register dated August 15, 2016, under the heading, “Control of Communicable Diseases—Notice of Proposed Rulemaking.”

Reading between the lines, the stark message is: any person in the US suspected of carrying a serious communicable disease, even if his disease is in an “invisible” stage, can be detained, isolated, quarantined, and medically treated (e.g., forcibly vaccinated). Upon conditional release, the person can be monitored, and this can involve wearing electronic tracking devices.

Those are the broad strokes of the new policy, and, obviously, they’re broad enough to cover anyone.

Tortured linguistic gibberish from the CDC guarantees that any American can be assessed with a disease, justifying arrest. Force yourself to wade through the next paragraph, and you’ll get a feel for the lunatic bureaucratic doublespeak, and the loopholes through which the government can drive a truck:

“…to authorize the quarantine, isolation, or conditional release of an individual traveling interstate, CDC must reasonably believe that the individual is infected with a communicable disease in a qualifying stage…As defined by the statute, a ‘qualifying stage’ means that the communicable disease is in ‘a precommunicable stage, if the disease would be likely to cause a public health emergency if transmitted to other individuals’ or ‘a communicable stage’…it is necessary to define the precommunicable stage of a communicable disease to adequately inform the public of when quarantine, isolation, or conditional release may be authorized. HHS/CDC defines precommunicable stage to mean the stage beginning upon an individual’s earliest opportunity for exposure to an infectious agent and ending upon the individual entering or reentering the communicable stage of the disease or, if the individual does not enter the communicable stage, the latest date at which the individual could reasonably be expected to have the potential to enter or reenter the communicable stage…”

Is that clear as mud? The “qualifying stage” of a disease? Translation: “we can arrest you whenever we want to, and we can say you have a disease.”

‘Is HuffPo under Big Pharma’s tent?’ – Lance Simmens [On the Censorship of ‘Vaxxed’ Film]

Surprising accusations of “censorship” against popular online website from prominent liberal author, activist and longtime contributor

Lance Simmens has written approximately 180 articles for The Huffington Post. But his prolific career as a HuffPo blogger came to an abrupt halt on April 15 when he wrote on a subject that turned out to be Kryptonite.

“I’m blacklisted. Blocked out of my account.”–Lance Simmens

Even more shocking, he says, is that the article that earned the block isn’t the least bit controversial—journalistically.

“If I’m [pharmaceutical company] Merck, I see why it’s controversial. But if I’m a rational political being, I’m not gonna see it,” says Simmens.

The blog in question was entitled, “Why Our Kids Should Hate Us” [published below]. Simmens posted it under his Huffington Post account after he screened the controversial documentary “Vaxxed.”

“Vaxxed” examines the extraordinary account of Dr. William Thompson, a current senior scientist at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Dr. Thompson says he and his colleagues, senior CDC officials, engaged in a blatant conspiracy to manipulate data and hide links between MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine and autism, particularly in African American boys. (CDC officials deny it.)

Simmens’ HuffPo article took no position on the alleged medical links between vaccines and autism that are the subject of heated debate among advocates and scientists on both sides. He simply argued that the unprecedented allegations of corruption at CDC, from a sitting CDC insider, deserve “serious consideration and a national dialogue.”
