SVC Responds to School “Vaccine Requirements” and Push for Vaccination Before School Resumes

The State of Florida and County governments and school systems are making their annual push for vaccination in advance of the upcoming school year.

Sarasota for Vaccination Choice supports parental choice in vaccinations. Parents who wish to have their children vaccinated have the prerogative to do so.

For those who do vaccinate, we encourage you to be informed about the hazards. See, for example: “If You Vaccinate, Ask 8! What You Need to Know Before & After Vaccination.”

Unfortunately, in its big push to promote mass vaccination, Florida governmental entities and schools often neglect to share important information about the availability of VACCINATION EXEMPTIONS for those who wish to utilize them.

See, for example, this recent press release from The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County:

Get school vaccines updated now
Proof of vaccine requirements and reputable sources of information
https://www.scgov.net/Home/Components/News/News/3521

Our comments regarding this press release:

1. It provides confusing information as to which vaccinations are “required” versus “recommended.”

2. Please notice: There is not one mention of students’ right to exemptions under Florida law! This is called a “lie by omission.”

For more information on exemptions from vaccination in Florida, please see: https://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws/state-vaccine-requirements/florida.aspx

3. Our main piece of advice which applies to anyone who has obtained a religious exemption under Florida statute, is this: do not waiver from the sole definition, that this is against your religious belief. This is your legal right and defense.

In Florida case law, there is Curry vs DOH (https://caselaw.findlaw.com/fl-district-court-of-appeal/1265547.html) which does not allow anyone to question your religious beliefs. If you bring up concerns about side effects of vaccinations then you open yourself up to arguments against the legal religious exemption.

In summary: It is wise to thoroughly and carefully inform yourself before receiving any medical procedure, including vaccinations.

Chelsea Clinton Joins the Pro-Vax Injury, Lay the Guilt on the Vaccine Injured Village

How many of us defended Chelsea Clinton, the gawky, pre-teen, frizzy haired, adult teeth in the child’s mouth First Child when Bill Clinton was first elected? Leave her alone! She’s a child! Leave her mother alone! She’s First Lady!  Chelsea was thrust into the same category as poor Amy Carter.  Not as attractive as a Kennedy child in world where the Internet (invented by her father’s Vice President) was just starting to fire photos around the world faster than the clap spreads in a house of ill repute.  Speaking of disease…

Which brings us to Chelsea’s recent Tweet gratuitous (not on your life, this is SCRIPTED and part of a larger agenda) attack on Dr. Andrew Wakefield who, some two decades ago postulated that science should look further into whether the MMR vaccine was possibly causing gut injury and related in some way to autism.

I don’t care if Chelsea has given double vaccines to her son and daughter. It’s her RIGHT as their mother to choose their healthcare. Is her son circumcised? Not my business.  Do her children eat sugary treats? That’s between them and their dentist.

Many years ago, her Mom, Hillary Clinton, then First Lady, told us that it takes a village to raise a child.  That doesn’t mean the village owns our kids.  We do not live in Shirley Jackson’s “village” of The Lottery. We are not collectively Tessie Hutchinson, here so that the villagers can stone us to death for our medical choices because, “That’s what we’ve always done.”

Chelsea Clinton opines on Twitter that SHE – yes SHE!!! – will never forgive Andrew Wakefield – as she lays the blame of a measles outbreak at his feet. I am willing to venture that the logical, gentle Dr. Wakefield would be happy to sit down with her .  This would shatter her cartoon image of him as a villain within the first ten minutes of a conversation.

Chelsea blossomed into quite a pretty woman (thank you hair care products, from this I know.) I looked a lot like Chelsea as a kid. Big teeth. Frizzy hair. Gawkasaurus!  I also blossomed into a pretty woman. We both have children. Except my daughters have severe autism.  And their village is called special ed day programming.

She WON the Lottery. She’s rich beyond measure.  Has two healthy kids. And can use her Twitter account to shame the village as she deems appropriate.

Imagine getting into a dog fight with a community that you do not belong to – by the Grace of  God. A community of families reeling under the intense heartache, challenges, worries and stress of autism. We fight back.

Pharmacist’s Daughter Stops Vaccinating and So Does The Pharmacist!

Pharmacist’s Daughter Stops Vaccinating and So Does The Pharmacist!

http://www.stopmandatoryvaccination.com/parent/vaccine-injury/pharmacists-daughter-stops-vaccinating-an-so-does-the-pharmacist/

Scott Borges, a retired pharmacist, shares his professional background, his vaccine experience, and what led him and his daughter to stop vaccinating.

“I was a pharmacist for 39 years, managed three different large chain drug stores for the last 25 years that I worked. Retired in 2014 and thought I might do a little part-time work. Worked about 20 hours giving flu vaccines after retirement and finally said I was through. My daughter, Lisa, had a child in 2016 more than two months premature that weighed 3.6 pounds. Lisa started questioning the idea of vaccinations which made me look at them for the first time ever, even though I had been vaccinating for the last six or seven years. Luckily, she stopped the vaccines after my grandson’s second doctor’s office visit and did not wait for me to do the research or even ask the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU), “Why on earth are you injecting a toxin linked to illicit drug use and sexually transmitted disease into a premature infant?” This is what got me started on questioning vaccines.”

Q: Before we explore questions about your grandchild, was your daughter vaccinated on a full, or partial schedule, or not at all?

Lisa was vaccinated on time and was fully vaccinated. She is almost 32, so she didn’t have the 72 doses they recommend now on the current childhood vaccination schedule. She traveled to Thailand in 2013 and I gave her the tDap vaccine before she left. That night she was in such horrible pain she could not sleep. Convinced myself it was the tetanus ingredient and a normal reaction. Wow.

Q: Was your daughter’s preemie vaccinated and if so, which vaccines did her baby receive?

My daughter Lisa’s son, Aidan, got the Hepatitis B shot at 2 weeks old, when he weighed less than 4 pounds, and was born 10 weeks premature. He received his 2 month shots when he got home, still not even term age. And again, received shots at 4 months. We thought we were doing the right thing and I was the pharmacist. Lisa found the movie, Vaxxed, before the 6 month vaccination round and informed her pediatrician she was going to delay the rest of the vaccinations. The pediatrician was not in agreement, so Lisa found a different doctor.

Q: What inspired your daughter to further research vaccines?

Lisa’s child, Aidan, was the impetus for her research. She has been health conscious for years. She is vegan, tries to use all natural products and essential oils. Lisa has nursed Aidan since day one, tried to do all the “right things.” She had reservations about the vaccines, yet vaccinations were not a real issue. How could vaccinations be wrong if your dad administers them for a living? It wasn’t until Aidan reacted to his 4 month shots that she questioned vaccines. In her words, “Aidan was so sad when we got home, it was awful. He was inconsolable and just kept on crying.” That is when she found Vaxxed.

Please Contact Health Committee NOW to OPPOSE CSHB 1045 State Forced Vaccine Tracking of Your Family

URGENT: The following is the text of an email from National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) (https://nvicadvocacy.org/members/Home.aspx):

1/31/2018 URGENT Update: Contact House Health and Human Services Committee NOW to OPPOSE CS/HB 1045: State Forced Vaccine Tracking of Your Family

Calls and Emails in Opposition Needed before House Hearing Thursday 2/1/2018 at 9:30 a.m. in Morris Hall (House Office Building 17)

Dear Florida NVIC Advocacy Team Members,

Two bills, CS/HB 1045 and CS/SB 1680, that will legally force Florida families’ vaccine status to be stored and tracked in a government run vaccine enforcement registry to be used to reach the stated goal of 100% vaccine compliance throughout Florida are moving forward quickly and we need your help to stop them.

CS/HB 1045 passed unanimously in the House Health Quality Subcommittee on January 24th and it is set for the next hearing on Thursday February 1st at 9:30 a.m. in Morris Hall of the House Office Building.

It is critical that you take action TODAY to contact every single member of the House Health and Human Services Committee (contact information below) to ask them to VOTE NO on CS/HB 1045. If you are limited on time, skip now to number 3 in the action items below.

CS/HB 1045 which requires doctors to automatically upload the vaccine status of their patients into the state vaccine tracking system without securing their expressed OPT-IN informed consent violates Section 23 of the Florida Constitution, which guarantees the people of Florida the Right of Privacy – “Every natural person has the right to be let alone and free from governmental intrusion into the person’s private life except as otherwise provided herein.”

Vaccine tracking systems are used to harass or penalize law abiding citizens who do not get every single vaccine.  Forced release of private medical records and forced inclusion in a government vaccine surveillance and enforcement registry violates the Florida constitutional right “to be let alone and free from governmental intrusion.”

We apologize for the late notice – we sent this out as soon as we could after just learning ourselves that the bill was posted last night for a hearing tomorrow!

ACTION NEEDED NOW:

1) CALL and EMAIL your Florida State Representative and Senator and ask them to OPPOSE CS/HB 1045 and CS/SB 1680. (Talking points below)

If you do not know who your Florida State Representative and Senator are or their contact information, you can login to the NVIC Advocacy Portal, click on the “State Teams” tab and then “My State,” and your elected officials are automatically posted on the right hand side of the page http://NVICAdvocacy.org. You can also use these search engines to find your Florida legislators. Representatives:  http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Representatives/myrepresentative.aspx,
Senators: https://www.flsenate.gov/Senators/Find

2) ATTEND THE HEARING on Thursday 2/1/2018 at the Florida Capitol from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. and REGISTER YOUR OPPOSITION to CS/HB 1045!

CS/HB 1045 will have a hearing in the House Health and Human Services Committee Thursday February 1st in the House Office Building in Morris Hall (17) at the State Capitol in Tallahassee.

The hearing is scheduled from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and HB 1045 is currently 8th out of 10 bills on the agenda.  Agenda: http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Committees/meetingnotice.aspx?MeetingId=11749&CommitteeId=2915

Even if you aren’t testifying, everyone can print and fill out a form to submit to register opposition at the hearing: http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Committees/AppearanceRequestForm.aspx?MeetingId=11749

Morris Hall is in the House Office Building, B on this map that also shows parking: https://www.floridacapitol.myflorida.com/visitors/parking

VISIT THE OFFICES OF YOUR OWN REPRESENTATIVE AND SENATOR AFTER THE HEARING AND ASK THEM TO OPPOSE CS/HB 1045 and CS/SB 1680.  Explain in person why it is important for them to vote NO and how it impacts your family. Use the talking points provided.

3) CALL and EMAIL ALL of the Members of the Florida House Health and Human Services Committee asking them VOTE NO on CS/HB 1045 at Thursday’s hearing.

Keep the calls and emails going to committee members until Thursday 2/1 at 11:00 a.m. which is the conclusion of the hearing. (phone numbers and emails below).

TALKING POINTS:

VOTE NO on CS/HB 1045 because it requires doctors to upload the vaccine status of their patients into the state vaccine tracking system SHOTS without securing their expressed OPT-IN informed consent. (lines 68-83)

Mine or my child’s records should never leave my doctor’s office or get copied from my child’s birth records from Vital Statistics (lines 49-53) to go into the registry without my permission.

These practices violate Section 23 of the Florida Constitution, which guarantees every resident of Florida the Right of Privacy – “Every natural person has the right to be let alone and free from governmental intrusion into the person’s private life except as otherwise provided herein.”

Vaccine tracking systems are used to harass or penalize law abiding citizens who do not get every single vaccine.  The state vaccine tracking system and the way it is being operated is a threat to the privacy and health and safety of my family.

Please understand that a reinstatement of lines 54-61 as promised in a future amendment by Representative Pigman at the House Health Quality Subcommittee hearing on 1/24/2018 at time stamp 26:47 which allow parents to “decline participation” unfortunately won’t fix the problem.  To “decline participation” which current law allows, the health department requires a parent to send them a form after their child is already in the registry. Instead of deleting records, the health department admits they will keep them and will only limit data sharing as they admit on their site. I object to the health department having any information about my family in the vaccine tracking system at all including the requirement in lines 59-61 that “the decision to not participate in the immunization registry must be noted in the registry.”  This is not a true declination of participation since the act of declining triggers forced participation and being listed in the registry as an objector.

The only way to guarantee a true declination of participation in the registry is to prevent doctors and Vital Statistics from forwarding unconsented records at all. State law has to instead prevent the release from the source at the doctor and Vital Statistics without consent in order to 1) uphold the Florida Constitution and 2) to protect the citizens of Florida from the overreach of unconsented disclosures permitted by HIPAA for public health reasons. There is a misconception that HIPAA protects this data when the truth is we need a stricter state law on consent to protect our data from the health department.

The bill also eliminates the ability for a parent to submit a paper vaccine record to the school to meet school vaccine and exemption requirements and instead requires every student (including those who have a lawfully obtained vaccine exemption) to have a vaccine record in the registry as a condition of attending school (lines 126-134).

Nobody should be forced to have their private medical vaccination records tracked by their government. This should be an OPT-IN system for those families wanting this service. Families who are capable of keeping track of their own children’s records with their doctor or who claim a vaccine exemption should NOT be forced to be in a centralized government vaccine surveillance and enforcement database for any purpose including to attend school. Please OPPOSE CS/ HB 1045.
